Volunteer program in Guanacaste, Costa Rica

In Ostional there are 4 species of turtles that nest. Once a month, hundreds to thousands of Olive Ridley Sea Turtles arrive at the beach on the same day.

You can be a volunteer in the Ostional Sea Turtle Refuge Project, become a part of the ADIO's team and work with other participants from all around the world besides the locals.

Our mission is to protect and restore the population of the Olive Ridley sea turtles and its marine environment. We also protect endangered sea turtles that nest on this beach, collect scientific data on their reproductive behavior and populations.
